Is coaching like therapy?
Coaching is a journey of discovery, reflection and self-awareness combined with action and self-motivation. Coaching is non-advisory, solution focussed and designed to move you forward instead of dwelling on the past. It’s a powerful method to help you grow, improve and develop new skills and tools to manage your life more effectively.
Do we talk about the past?
We focus on the life you wish to have and we work towards obtaining results to achieve it. However, when the past is in the way of you achieving your best life, I believe the way forward is by healing the past. So, we only talk about the past if it’s coming in the way of your future.
Is there crying?
This is a life changing experience, and at times it can be intense and emotional. You need to be brave to face your challenges and do the emotional work needed to build a loving relationship with yourself and create a life you love. You may cry, although it isn’t compulsory.
Will I be fixed?
I believe people don’t need to be fixed. They need to be seen, heard, felt and experienced in order to align with their authentic self. You need to be committed to making the changes that are needed to undertake the journey. I can facilitate you, support you, champion you to greatness, but I can’t do the work for you.
